Such a strong and durable knife is always convenient in the woods for versatile
(non-specific) work. With such a serious blade thickness, you can safely plan,
chop, pierce, etc. (within reason, of course). The notches on the butt for
thumb rest compensate for the lack of a finger stop. Having a Classic at hand,
you can feel all its charm.
The blade of the knife is made of powder tool steel Elmax of the Austrian -
Swedish concern Bohler Uddeholm. Blade hardness - 62 HRc. Thanks to the
alloying elements: chrome, vanadium and molybdenum, Elmax blades are
distinguished by high strength, good wear resistance, warping resistance, and
excellent corrosion resistance. The edge of the blade does not require
sharpening for a long time. Elmax blades undergo additional sandblasting for an
anti-glare effect.
In the manufacture of a knife, we carry out through installation (the shanks
of the blades go through inside the handles, which ensures the strength of the
structure). The knife handle is made of stained hornbeam (the density of which
is 770 kg / m3, it grows in Europe, Transcaucasia, North Africa, Western Asia).
The stop (guard) and the back of the knife are made of cupronickel.
The knife is supplied with a solid individual leather case with two hangers
(fixed and free), a drain and a company logo.
