THIS IS A STOCK PHOTO - Each spoon rest has a slightly different maple leaf
shape and size as all maple leaves grow different.

For these spoon rests I mixed brown, white and black clay together then rolled
out the clay. I pressed a real maple leaf into the clay, impressing the veins
into the leaf then cut the clay around the leaf. I then round the edges and let
it dry to bone dry. It is then fired in my electric kiln to a bisque finish.
I dipped these leaves in a food-safe clear glaze then fired them in my
electric kiln to approximately 2900.

They are food safe and can be washed in the dishwasher. The back is not glazed.
